Try it First
You are welcome to come along to your first class and try it out before committing yourself to a block booking or a course of classes. It does usually take at least eight sessions to feel confident in your practise and to experience the benefits that yoga brings. To reserve your first class, please ring 01392 213478 or email first to reserve your place and you can decide at the end of the class whether to pay for that single session or to make a block booking that includes the cost of your first class.

Registration Forms
To ensure that we know enough about our students in order to be able to adapt classes to suit individual needs, we ask you to fill out a registration form and bring it along to your first class. There are certain circumstances where some yoga postures may not be suitable or may need to be modified and the questions on the forms reflect this. The forms are available as pdfs. Choose the form that is relevant to the class you wish to take and please give as much information as you feel able to. Thank you.
What to Bring
- Adult Yoga, including Prenatal and Gentle Yoga
Mats and blankets are provided, so there is no need to bring anything except maybe a drink of water.
- Yoga Babies and Ready Steady Yoga
Mats, blankets and toys for the babies are provided, so you just need to bring whatever you need to make things comfortable for you and your child or baby. A drink or snack for after may be useful for toddlers and children. You may wish to bring something familiar for your baby, like a muslin or a small blanket, but this is not at all essential.
What to Wear
For adult classes wear something comfortable, such as a t-shirt and stretchy trousers with some give in the waist, rather than jeans, which are too restrictive to let you move easily. Socks work better than tights, as yoga is done in bare feet. For the children and babies classes, the dress code is more relaxed! However, you will be doing some gentle yoga so you will be more comfortable in trousers rather than a skirt, and bare feet are still best - for babies and children as well.
When and Where to Come
Adult Classes start on time, so it would be helpful if you could arrive for the start of the class. Classes involving babies and small children are always more unpredictable, but as classes run back to back, it is really helpful if most of the class are on time. However, if you are late for a Yoga Babies or Ready Steady Yoga class, please don’t worry and just come along, whatever the time. Everyone in the class understands what it’s like trying to organise yourself and a baby or little one.
