About think yoga

Nikkie Huddart
Nikkie first became interested in yoga when she was a teenager and began practising while at University. She was originally drawn to yoga for its ability to relieve stress and calm the mind. After tracing her birth mother in 1997, and finding that she was a yoga teacher and trainer, Nikkie began training with her. With the birth of her third child, Nikkie completed further Antenatal training with the Saraswati Yoga Studios. Before she was a yoga teacher, Nikkie taught secondary English for several years, and brings this experience, along with her own experience as a mother, to her baby and children’s yoga classes.

Additionally she has trained with Yoga Bugs to teach children aged 2-7 years, and is completing further workshops in teaching yoga to teenagers, which is one of her particular areas of interest.  She loves the combination of teaching ‘peaceful’ yoga to adults, as well as the exciting unpredictability of the baby and children’s classes.  Nikkie has been continuing her teacher training with the Comprehensive Yoga Fellowship for the last six years. She lives in Exeter and is mother to three young children, Lily (6), Ted (4), and Sid (2).
